“Amazing Tournament, well organized and the best part it brought the Christian youth of different denominations together as it was open to any parish. Hoping to see you all next year.”

Jerrin John (St. Luke’s Parish, Defence Colony)

“SMBC has been a wonderful experience. Organised by MGOCSM, Hauz Khas, it really maintained the standards of the game including the referees and other arrangements for the participants. All the teams and participants would love to come again and play for the SMBC cup and the noble cause.”

Jaison Mathews (Gaziabad Parish)

“SMBC – 2013 was an initiative taken by the students movement of Hauz Khas parish. Given the resources they had, they produced a gem of tournament with a motive of bringing the Christian youth together. We had the honour of being the opening team to start off the tournament with the host parish. We lost out to a superior team not before putting on a spirited performance. We had just stepped into diversity. A sports fiesta”

Linu Varghese (Dwarka Parish)

“I love this game and so did I love my parish (Hauz khaaaaas Hauz Khaaaaas ) organizing it. It started off as an idea which later on became a grand event. Played with many, fought with many...but it was all part of the game; outside the game we are all just friends. The adrenalin, the cheering, the spirit, the drama; it’s all here. The tournament gave me many moments to remember and cherish. So, my lovely parish organizers hit me with this SMBC dose every year coz i’m soooo lovin it.”

Jimmy (Hauz Khas Parish)

“A well organised tournament, good platform for the youth to showcase their talent. Kudos to Hauz Khas team”.

Jatin Mathew (Janakpuri Parish)

“SMBC ’13 organized by St. Mary’s Orthodox Cathedral was an appreciated and a memorable event. A special thanks to the Priests and elders who gave us immense support to make this event a grand success. Would also take the opportunity to thank MGOCSM, Hauz Khas who worked day and night to get a fruitful result. Thanking all the teams who participated and showed great team spirit.”

Julin B Daniel (Hauz Khas Parish)

“One of the tournament that brought us all over from Delhi; it was great to see that. The tournament was held brilliantly, everything well organized.”

Alfred Tudu ( Rosary Church, Kingsway Camp)

“I think the tournament was organized brilliantly. Really liked the fact that it was taken seriously and everything from the court, to the refreshments were up to the mark. The most important being the official website where the players could go and see their pictures post tournament which to mention were taken beautifully and thus keeping some good memories.”

Rohan Michael ( Blessed Mother Teresa)

“Our Youths had a wonderful experience last time in the Basketball tournament. We were surprised by the fact that there was no fighting, as fights are very usual in a competitive game. It was well organised and well planned. The refereeing standard was highly appreciable. We should have finished the games by 5 in the evening but it went on late. So hoping next time the time will be kept in mind. We should also have some games in the breaks like a Free Throw Competition or 3-Pointer competition, so as to entertain and for keeping the spirits high. It is a good initiative by the Hauz Khas Youth group to bring youths from all churches across Delhi together. May God Bless you in your future endeavour.”
